Information You Send Directly
A search query entered in a third-party search widget is passed to that provider to return its result. If you contact the site, the message and the information included with it may be received. Please do not send sensitive personal information through a general contact message.
Automatic Technical Data

How Information Is Used
Information may be used to operate and improve the reference, respond to a message, understand traffic, prevent misuse, display or measure advertising, and comply with a valid legal request. It is not used to create an official Otter Tail County record or to change a record held under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13.
Links and Outside Services
Links lead to county, court, corrections, federal, and outside services. Those destinations have their own practices, terms, and security controls. This notice does not govern an external page, including a search provider page reached through a widget.
Who May Receive Data
Information can be handled by search partners, hosting and analytics providers, advertising networks, and vendors that support site operations. It may also be disclosed when required by a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request from law enforcement or a government authority.
Security Practices
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure. Avoid sending information that should remain confidential through an ordinary web form or email.
Visitors Under 18
This service is not designed for children under 18. It does not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child submitted information, contact the site so the report can be reviewed.
Your Information Choices
You may ask about a contact message or request correction or deletion of information you directly submitted, subject to legal and operational limits. A request about an official jail, police, court, or corrections record must go to the government office that maintains it. This service cannot alter those source records.
